DTEK ENERGY is looking for a contractor to develop feasibility studies: project for the construction of gas turbine units

15-01-2025

DTEK ENERGY is preparing to implement one of the largest projects aimed at restoring Ukraine's energy sector - the construction of gas turbine plants. The search and selection of a contractor will be carried out in several stages.

As part of the first stage, DTEK ENERGY is looking for a contractor to develop feasibility studies for three industrial sites in different regions of Ukraine (based on existing coal-fired power plants).

The scope of work includes the assessment of feasibility, costs (CAPEX and OPEX) and operating models of new gas turbine plants.
DTEK ENERGY plans to build the plants in 2 main stages:
1. Highly flexible open-cycle gas turbines to be implemented by the end of 2027.
2. Further conversion/modernization of the constructed open-cycle gas turbines into combined-cycle gas turbines to be implemented in the period of 2028-2030

A detailed scope of work with interim results will be available during the bidding process on DTEK ENERGO's internal platform - SAP ARIBA - as part of the second stage of the search and selection of a contractor.

More information on the bidding procedure can be found in our post in ARIBA Discovery https://discovery.ariba.com/rfx/22131480

If you are interested and willing to participate in the bidding for the development of feasibility studies, please send your reference letters by submitting an offer in the ARIBA Discovery post or to DEP@dtek.com.
