DTEK Energy completes the first stage of SAP Ariba implementation

Modern market relations between sellers and buyers in both B2B and B2C procurement require players to constantly develop and improve. If the main criterion for the development of procurement in a company is its efficiency, then digitalization is the best tool to help achieve it.

One of the most effective modern digital solutions for businesses is SAP Ariba, the world's largest B2B trading platform used by more than 3 million companies with a total annual turnover of more than $1.6 trillion.

DTEK Energy's Procurement Directorate, together with the Deloitte team, is completing the first stage of SAP Ariba implementation, namely the Ariba Sourcing and Ariba SLP modules. The SAP Ariba trading platform will replace the internal one – SAP SLC/Sourcing.

"The implementation of the project involves achieving the effect of attracting new suppliers for critical procurement categories and reducing the cost of strategic procurement," said Project Manager Oleksii Konstantinov, Head of the Procurement Planning, Analysis and Control Department. "The Ariba Discovery standard tool will allow the use of international sourcing functionality and ensure the creation of sustainable supply chains for business needs."

The implementation of SAP Ariba will bring DTEK Energy's procurement to a new quality level, which will ensure:

• risk control at all stages of the process
• increasing the number of new suppliers every year
